Free FSY Bookmark Painting Project Tutorial and Supplies List
Step 1: Download the PDF using the link below, Print the file at 100% scale (not "fit to page") and Cut the bookmarks before your activity. I like to have lots of extras available to account for mistakes and some of my YW wanted to make a second one for a friend or another YW who was absent.
Step 2: Explain that the introduction and every chapter of the FSY Guide makes it clear the CHRIST is the Strength of Youth, and all of us. He is our strength! The point of the bookmarks, which are perfectly sized to fit in the physical guide, is to keep Christ at the center of our study.
Allow the girls to start painting (or coloring if you choose to use markers instead). They can either leave the silhouette of Christ blank or write in a phrase like “Christ is my Strength.”
Step 3: After the paint has dried, round the corners and laminate the bookmark.
Step 4: Punch a round hole in the top and thread through the end of a chosen tassel. All done! This project take about an hour.
